COM-ETX for High Performance Solutions
ETX stands for Embedded Technology eXtended and defines another standard interface for industrial System-on-Module applications. Avalue's ETX form factor Computer on Module series provides the complete PC functionality within 114 mm x 100 mm (4.5 dimensions, and functions as a highly integrated component mounted onto any COM-ETX compliant carrier board through four 100-pin high-density connectors.

The COM-ETX series provides perfect solutions for critical applications that requires advanced processors, great I/O capacity, and faster data transmission through both ISA and PCI buses. It gives engineers powerful CPU platform choices with scalable system performance, streamlines the product development process and reduces time to market.

Superior to conventional single board computers, the COM-ETX solutions are easy to upgrade. You may simply plug the next-generation COM-ETX module onto the original baseboard, then, it is done!

COM-144 Economic Solutions
The COM-144 module forms the smallest COM form factor of 68 mm x 100 mm, and adapts a 144-pin SODIMM connector as the bridge interface between standard and custom PC functionalities. The COM-144 module compresses the standard PC functions within the card-size space, and works with the custom-made carrier board through a 144- pin SODIMM and an 80-pin high-density connector.

Avalue develops the COM-144 series with a focus on low-power and low cost SoC solutions. The COM-144 modules are available with various CPU classes scalable from NS Geode GX1 to Transmeta Crusoe TM5600 performance to meet applications where size, speed and reliability are crucial on demand.
