Pentium®M KIOSK SBC in EPIC size
Evalue Technology, renowned for innovative small form factor SBC, announced the ECM-3720 to satisfy those embedded applications that are critical in price, performance, thermal and space. The ECM-3720 applies Intel® Pentium® M processor and 82855GME chipset in accordance with EPIC form factor, which allows faster CPU processor and rich I/O interfaces within the size of 115 mm x 165 mm at modest cost.
The ECM-3720 is particularly perfect for KIOSK and such interactive applications offering low power consumption, onboard resistive touch screen controller, four USB ports and DC to DC converter for single +12V power input.
The ECM-3720 is furnished to meet the most demanding multimedia application with 48-bit LVDS, dual-view display and 5.1 channel audio. The networking function is provided with dual Intel® 10/100Base-Tx controllers. Onboard DDR 333 SDRAM memory up to 1 GB is available to provide OS support for Embedded Windows XPE, CE .NET or Linux. Moreover, the tiny board provides one PCI-104 slot for further expansion and one compact flash for extra storage.
Applying powerful Pentium® M and versatile multimedia functionality in EPIC such a small-footprint form factor, the ECM-3720 is ideal for POS, KIOSK, ATM banking, medical, gaming, security and other applied embedded applications.
